Over time, the VGS has grown and evolved into the great organization it is today. This would never have happened without the participation and volunteerism of you, our members.
Yesterday evening I received a call from our Membership
Chair, Pat Otterberg. It was a call I had been anticipating for a while. Pat
gave me the great news that The Villages Genealogical Society had just
broken the 1,000 member threshhold! This is an exciting event, coming just four
days before our annual All Day Seminar. Our 1,000th member is Kay Paul,
sister of current VGS member Jan Daniel. On behalf of the VGS, I want to
say with great enthusiasm, "Welcome, Kay!"
