3 New SIG's are Being Considered:

The VGS
At least two new SIG's will be in the offering in the near future. They are going through the process now trying to obtain sufficient interest from members in order to secure a room and time for their meetings from The Villages. The topics be considered are Mid-Western States, Roots Magic Software and Adoption. The first two have sufficient interest and their paperwork is being processed. The Adoption SIG needs a few more names of members that would have an interest. If you have an interest in Adoption, contact our SIG Coordinator, Dale Heins, and tell him of your interest. You can reach Dale, HERE.

In speaking with genealogy friends and colleagues, I don’t think there is any degree of separation from this disaster: we likely all know at least one person who has lost their home, their business and their possessions."
