Citrus County Genealogical Society Meeting Announcement:

The Citrus County Genealogical Society meeting will be held July 11 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3474 W. Southern St., Lecanto. President, Mary Ann Machonkin, will give an “Overview of the Genealogy Collection at the Lakes Region Library.” Books tend to be an underutilized resource in genealogy, but not everything is online. There are books with vital records that are not easily accessible anywhere else. There are “how to” books on genealogy and books to aid in ethic research.
