This will be an overview of the Library's (and Society's) genealogical holdings, including the Genealogical Research System. There will be discussion on the GRS's evolution and how this might impact its use as a genealogical source. This webinar is part of APG’s series on research in Washington, DC.
About the Presenter: Darryn Lickliter, a native of Indiana, has been an active genealogical researcher for over 35 years. He studied German and Spanish at Indiana University and later completed his master’s degree at Drexel University in Library Science. He began working for the DAR as a genealogist in 1999 and has worked on several digitization projects over the years. In 2012, Darryn became the Director of the Office of the Registrar General and in March 2016 he took on the additional responsibility of Library Director.
