Q. When will the new Family Tree Maker 2017 start shipping?

A. FTM 2017 has new technology for connecting Family Tree Maker to Ancestry which we call FamilySync — which allows an Ancestry tree to be synced with multiple computers running FTM. We had planned to release FTM 2017 on March 31, 2017, but have been delayed a few days as we work with Ancestry to make final adjustment to FamilySync. We expect to release very soon. Click www.familytreemaker.com for updates on our progress.
Editor's Note: I would wait a week or two on this latest version to see what problems they may run into. This is a free update only if you have the latest MacKiev FTM 2014.1 version already installed.
