The Citrus County Genealogical Society will meet April 11 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3474 W. Southern St., Lecanto. The speaker, Annette Burke Lyttle, a nationally known genealogy lecturer, will talk about “Finding Your Family’s Story in Free Online Newspaper Archives.” Beyond birth, death and marriage notices, historic newspapers can provide information that brings your ancestors and their world to life. Many of these newspapers are available on line at no cost. Learn how to find and use these valuable resources. Guests are welcome to attend.
