FamilySearch Will Be Down This Coming Monday:
The FamilySearch website will be undergoing a technical upgrade Monday, June 27th, 2016 starting at 12 midnight MDT, and may be down for up to 24 hours as they test the system. This is a major upgrade to the FamilySearch System. Hopefully they will not run into any technical issues.
This Day In History: 22 June
1772: Slavery is outlawed in England.
1876: General Alfred Terry sends Lieutenant Colonel George A. Custer to the Rosebud and Little Bighorn rivers to search for Indian villages.
1942: A Japanese submarine shells Fort Stevens at the mouth of the Columbia River.
1930 Birthday: A son is born to Charles and Anne Morrow Lindbergh.
State Timelines:
Even though it is hard to tell what made people move or disappear, these are just a few possibilities.

1623: Saco Bay settled.
1624: Kittery settled.
1628: Brusnwick (Pejepscot) settled.
