Microsoft has been pretty candid in saying that Windows 10 will never be perfect. The company has used millions of beta testers to help resolve any bugs before yesterday's launch. But as more and more users download, install, and test the new operating system, issues will come to light.
Here is what the computer club had to say:
"The Board and gurus of the Villages Computer Club wish to advise you to wait to install Windows 10 until next year, or until we and the professional user community can evaluate the maturity of the software to believe it is suitable for general use. The reason is that new software often has issues that do not come to light until there are millions of installs in many different types of systems. Not all combinations can be tested during the early beta tests. Therefore, it is better to let Microsoft have some time to develop corrections to problems before you install the new Operating System. Do not put your files, pictures, music, and memories at risk by installing the new operating system on your main (or only) computer.
However, if you are an advanced user and have a spare computer that does not have to preserve all you files, and you are interested in trying Windows 10, then go ahead and try it on the spare computer.
